It all started in 2009 when founder Marcus Jetton had one vision: bring restaurant-quality, hand-crafted pizza to the heart of Elgin, Illinois. Armed with family recipes, a rented storefront on S Randall Rd, and an unshakable passion for bold flavors, Marcus opened the doors to what would become a neighborhood institution.

In the early days, Marcus worked the dough himself — up at 5am, sourcing fresh ingredients from local farms, perfecting every topping combination. Word spread fast. Lines formed. The community embraced Jet's Pizza not just as a restaurant, but as a gathering place.

The First Slice

Marcus Jetton opens the original Jet's Pizza location on S Randall Rd, Elgin. Armed with family recipes and one stone-deck oven, the dream becomes real on opening day.

2011

Menu Expansion

Responding to customer demand, we introduce our signature deep-dish, stuffed crust options, and homemade garlic knots. Sales double within the year.

2014

Local Recognition

Jet's Pizza is voted "Best Pizza in Elgin" by Chicago Tribune readers. The award puts us on the map and brings customers from across the greater Chicagoland area.

2017

Catering & Events

We launch our full catering service, bringing fresh pizza to corporate events, weddings, and community gatherings across Kane County. A new chapter of growth begins.

2020

Pivoting with Purpose

During a challenging year for restaurants, we launched contactless delivery, online ordering, and community meal programs — feeding over 2,000 families in need during the pandemic.

2024

Kitchen Renovation & New Menu

We invest in a full kitchen upgrade with two new stone-deck ovens, a revamped menu of bold new flavors, and a refreshed dining area. Jet's Pizza enters its boldest era yet.
